1998 - 2002 were fantastic times for the new growing Stoner Rock scene. So many bands hit the earth and so many bands never got the chance to release an official album. But a lot of demos are flying around since that period. We try to bring some of those bands with their great demo recordings back and give that influencal sounds a wider attention.

Sgt.Sunshine was formed 1998 in Malmö, Sweden by guitar player, lead singer and song writer Eduardo Fernandez,
bass player and baking vocals, Pär Hallgren and drummer, percussionist, Christian Lundberg.

In the begginings of 1999 they recorded the tracks: Vega, Sad Song, Northern Light, Marrow Soup and Death (Like a friend in my breath)
Recorded at the rehearsal room mobile studio in Kai Plats 305 in Malmö, thru a Tascam 388 Studio 8 1/4" 8-track reel to reel Tape recorder with mixer.
This demo was recorded by Eduardo and mixed by Sgt.Sunshine, mastered by Tobbias Wolf and Eduardo Fernandez.

Just saw them at RippleFest in Austin. Great live band! Really like this Demo album- sounds great on vinyl. Slightly different sound to the vocals, which I liked quite a bit. Music fantastic. jamjamkiley
